The Second largest of the Balearic Island, Menorca (or Minorca as it is called in English) is a beautiful island and the least overrun of the Balearic Islands. Menorca`s capital, Maó, has narrow and charming streets make this town the most visited of the island together with Ciutadella. Ciutadella is wonderful town with a unique character. Its old quarter if full of history; architectural landmarks worth looking out for include the Gothic-style Cathedral and the 18th-Century Esglesia dels Socors church.
