The museum has a spectacular collection of art works collected by the Spanish kings over many centuries of time. The museum has the biggest collection of works of Diego Velázquez and Francisco Goya in the world, but also a renowned collection of works by Peter Rubens, Titian, El Greco, Bosch and many other superb Spanish and international artists.
